Yellowstone is a vast expanse of pristine wilderness waiting to be explored stretching from Wyoming to Idaho and Montana.
With seemingly mystical multicolored pools welling up from the center of the earth, to more dramatic geysers blasting steaming hot water into the air, this parks 2.2 million acres of terrain are never a bore.
People didn’t believe Lewis and Clarke’s exploration party when they tried to put into words the majesty of this park.
If you want to avoid the 3 million annual visitors, it’s surprisingly easy. Most of them will stick close to Old Faithful, the enormous geyser that has contributed to Yellowstone’s fame.
Some prefer to hike and camp and seek solitude in the cathartic outdoors. One can become a part of nature, sharing a home with bison, elk, wolves, and grizzlies. With 3,000 acres of mountain ranges, there is no shortage of hiking opportunities, all of which will lead you phenomenal views.
Yellowstone is one of those most visited spectacles of nature in both the country and the world.

Also keep in mind that these are wild animals. They do not respond well to people running up for a quick pet. To quote the expression, “Them’s fightin’ words” to a wild animal. Though I say this in jest, it’s important to respect the personal space of these animals who have their homes here.

The undisturbed nature, sugary white beaches, and famous crystal clear blue waters will draw you in and anchor you to these exotic islands.
Indulge in fresh fruits and the local cuisine. Be sure to try a plate of Saltfish while you’re here!
But don’t be surprised when you’re joined for lunch by one of the wild iguana that roam the island freely or maybe a smaller lizard will stop by for a look.
